Access to Information
I believe that free access to information is a human right. The Internet has dramatically enhanced our ability to exercise this right, but unfortunately most humans cannot access the Internet. Today, over 4.3 billion people cannot connect to the Internet at all and another roughly 1 billion people have their Internet connections censored or monitored. A world where only 20% of humans have truly free access to digital information is unacceptable.
Indexing Notebooks – Part 1
In the past I’ve written about creating notes both digitally and on paper. And as big of a digital tech nerd as I am, I always seem to return to pen & paper (or in my case Sharpie & card stock).
Coffee Bag Wallet #3
Here another attempt at a wallet. This one is one of those long wallets, where the bills don’t fold. And in my quest to make things harder than they should be, I thought hard holders would be a nice addition.
Burrito Bowls V2
This is sort of a “cop-out” post, but we made burrito bowls again tonight. I had mine bowl-style versus burrito-style. Different. More rice, but it was good any way. One thing we changed this round was the “sauce”. We took light sour cream & chipotle sauce and mixed in some ground cayenne pepper & ground smoked chipotle pepper. It had a nice little kick to it!
This shit is getting really annoying. In their domain manager, the domain list used to show on at least 1/3 of the page
I just had to buy it. ;-)
Playing Monopoly with the parents & the wife. Enemies will likely be made. This could end badly.
Engraved Starbucks Cup
Really like this “ghost” engraved mug from Starbucks. Although I’m sure it would eventually get dirty since it looks like it has a porous finish on it. :(
Piece of shit, good for nothing,
Starbucks Wallet…er Card Case
I tried making a wallet out of a Starbucks coffee bag. But I screwed it up pretty bad and turned it into a business card & credit card holder…
