Okay, so the fiancé (wow, that still looks so wired to write…) and I had date-night tonight. I noticed on the bottom if the receipt that they calculated out the percentages of your receipt. I then glanced up at the tax which is $2.39 (8.25% here in Texas) multiply by 2 & it’s $4.78, which is 16.5% of the sub-total. I was always taught to tip 15% of the total before tax. Or to double the tax here in Texas. Then go up or down depending on service (or add more if alcohol is involved.) Just thought you should know that they are taking the tax into affect at Jonny Carino’s to calculate those percentages. Sorta felt mislead I guess.

What do you think?
